Your pets are family, so taking care of their health is important. Dogs die every day due to the harmful additives in dog food. When you make your own dog food, you know your dog is not ingesting these harmful additives.
You actually would not believe what's in some of the commercially available dog food. Commercial dog food can contain Sodium Pentobarbital “the stuff used for putting animals to sleep” If consumed for extended periods, serious health problems can occur in your pet, even death!
There are also tons of other potentially harmful chemicals found in commercial dog foods, such as butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), Ethoxyquin and Propylene Glycol. These ingredients can cause your dog to develop kidney problems, cancer, and even destroy it's red blood cells.
